Cynthia, Christine and families,
I was so sorry to hear of your mother's death. I wish for her that she died in the same graceful way that she lived her life. She was one grand lady.
I have such fond memories of both she and your dad. I remember the first time that I met them. They were hosting a family gathering. Steve and I were just recently married. Your dad welcomed me by telling us how he married this Catholic lady, the love of his life. Then, he proceded to talk about the lovely family they had together. They were such a class act!
I regret that I am unable to attend her service as I took a long term substitute teaching job that just began. Know that you are all in my heart as you lay her to rest. I will be thinking of you in the days ahead.
