Ruth was a very old and dear friend to my mother, Shirley Petersen, who died just two months ago.
I was priviledged to be able to join Ruth and her 'inner circle' on several plant buying trips where she led us through greenhouse after greenhouse, searching out only the best plants at the best price for the annual plant sale.
I always admired her knowledge, and energy and tenacity, and besides that, I just liked her a lot.
I am very sorry for the pain of your loss, but I think my Mom is so happy to see Ruth again.
