Helen will be missed by thousands of quilters she touched every month in her magazine column, and especially by all the Minnesota Quilters. I extend my heartfelt sympathy to her family.

Bill: Charlie and I are so sad for your loss. Helen was a delight and on top of that a wonderful quilter with a marvelous sense of humor. We shall all miss her tremendously.

I did not know Helen personally but her family was so proud of her world-renowned quilting artistry I felt I knew her. Her exceptional talent and dedication to family and friends have been passed down successfully to her children and grand-children. My most heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends.

Helen touched so many, she will be remembered for her support, humour and insight. I know she is now leading the big guild in the sky and happily sorting through fabric and patterns knowing her points will always be sharp and her stitches straight.
Her family and freinds are covered with her love and quilts. Helen's generous donation of a doll to Minnesota Quilters' silent auction sits in a place of honor in my home

My heart goes out to all who loved Helen. We at Minnesota Quilters have much to be grateful to her for - not only for her vision as one of our Charter Members or for her inspiration to quilters around the world, but for her generous gift of herself. Her quilts were beautiful and fun - but not as much as she was.

Helen's guidance to quilters will be missed beyond words. I grew up in the quilting world under her tutelage through QNM and her quilting efforts. My condolences to her family.
