Dave and Ted, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I just found out this weekend and wish I had known earlier. I hope that this gets to you. Jo was my mentor and was the first person who told me I could do anything and that she believed in me. It helped me a great deal in my life and I will always remember her with thanks and love. I stayed with her a few years ago and for that I am grateful. Her housekeeper told me about her move to the nursing home. I was touched that she reached out to me to let me know. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and that I have so many fond memories of your mom and your dad. They even visited me when I moved to Indiana many years ago. Jo was just so very special to me and I am blessed to have had her in my life. My best to you and your families. Jolene "Joey" Lessard Stiver joeystiver@comcast.net

Dear Ted and Dave,Today I had the opportunity to pay my respects to Jo and her family and what a privilege to know her. Yes, definitely her smile is most remembered but her passions whether, dogs, tennis, girls sports, Gamma Phi Beta are truly inspirations to the way she lived her life! No women could choose a better role model to emulate than Jo! I'm glad to have known her, she will be remembered well by us all. Sincerely, Birdie Bagley Westerdahl
