Hi Vivian, Chuck, Marilyn-- and family. Was recently writing an essay on my grandfather (Donald Raney), Dick Sr., and others-- on all the blessings they gave us. I never met Richard-- but in reading on his life I am certain he could have provided much wisdom to conversation. My you continue to experience all the blessings of his wonderful life in this new year- and those to follow.

Dick brightened everyone's day when he walked the CCO hallways. His sense of humor and broadcasting annecdotes are legendary. He will truly be missed. My heart goes out to Dick's family.

What a pleasure working with Dick at WCCO-TV and at my own studios. Bright, friendly, funny...not enough words to describe Dick. He will be missed and not forgotten.
