I met VInce in 1983 when my wife and I spent Christmas in their beautiful home on Lake Minnetonka. Diane had been an Afs Student in 1796 and had always spoken about them, from that time on I became a part of the family - like a son and called him Dad - I was priveleged to spend many happy celebrations with them and a highlight was their visit to South Africa in 1999. Vince was a true gentleman - always positive and smiling - with a listening ear and ready to give advice when asked for. My sons, Ryan and Shane, also saw Vince as their grandad. We will miss you but your example, laughter and memories will always live on in my heart and mind. I look forward to seeing you in heaven.
