Well it's been almost a year since you have been gone Uncle Burton. I think you often as for years and years I looked forward to your "Wilson" news letters . I enjoyed visiting you in Santa Barbara and in Ausitin. I have may of your photos and will cherish them forever. My best memory was how you helped pull me through the sorrow I felt when Kenny died by writing to me so often. RIP Uncle Burton...

I never really knew my Uncle Burton, but I do know the Wilson's were loaded with talent I had one uncle who was a pro baseball star, a aunt who was a artist. Also we had Pro Skier. Now they are famiy once again! IN THE GREEN MONTAINS OF VERMONT, WHERE IT ALL BEGAN, SORRY TEXAS!!!

Burton and my mother-in-'love' ate at the same table at Westminster Manor, and he was such a delightful gentleman. We loved to hear his stories from growing up a farm boy in Vermont to their move to Texas. His room was like visiting a private museum. Burton certainly had an eye for detail, and we are blessed to have known him.

Although I met Mr. Wilson only briefly, he impressed me as being a genuine gentleman, with the gift of a keen eye and great insight as a photographer. My copy of "Burton's Book of the Blues" is a treasure.

Rest in peace Mr. Wilson
