So today is one year. A ceremony being held today for you. I know you still are around as little things are shown to me that remind me of you. I get my emails from futureme about you. I visit your blog once in a while and visit your facebook weekly. Today I reread our facebook conversation and will save it. I have written a few letters as you know, but that won't continue. I'll never forget you or yours and hope they will always be safe and loved. With much love and admiration I say ta ta for now Jo. -Big Johnboy.
Lita, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. You and your Mom lived with me in San Francisco when you first came here. I hope you remember me. It was a sweet time in my life to watch you grow and see how very much your mother loved you. I hope you are staying strong and trying to fill your life with love as your mom would want you to do. Love, Michelle De Marco
My heart goes out to Lita and family I just found out.
Just found out about Jo and am feeling great sorrow for Lita who was our neighbor. I hope she is with loving people and wish her the best.
Prayers for your family. May they feel God's peace and compassion.
Jo will always have a special place in my heart. She always had nice things to say. She was very special. Her daughter Lita will always be like a granddaughter to me. I will miss her smile and always was so upbeat.Love you Jo.
My condolences to Lita. I was just reuniting with Jo when this happened and wish we had gotten together a long time ago.

Joanne was my neice. I remember her when she was a baby & still have these pic's of her & her daughter Lita when she was little. Truely will miss my neice Joanne, Jo. Joanne is a great lady in all she did in her life, she was so sweet. Wish, I could of been in touch with her over these long years. God has her now. Love Aunt Linda.
Jo was such a wonderful person! I truly enjoyed the time we got to spend with her! She was so full of life and such a unique person! And her food was always amazing!! She will be greatly missed!
Joanne was my co worker since May, I knew as soon as I met her she had a sharp intellect. She received employee of the Month shortly after she arrived. She was a talkative, jovial soul who had no qualms telling you her whole life story shortly after meeting you. We had several long discussions on various subjects. Her loss was a huge shock and she will be missed by all of us who worked with her. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
Chad, we are so sorry to hear of Jo's passing. We are thinking of you.
Jo made us feel so welcome in our first year in Austin and shared her abundant passion and joy for life in our short friendship. I feel blessed to have known her and will remember her always with great fondness and love.
In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.
I didn't know her, but looking at her and the kind look in her face and eyes, I know she was and is a beautiful soul.
