Margaret was my first cousin, my mother's niece, but always seemed like an aunt to me and a sister to my mother. I loved her dearly and will miss her. She was sweet, gracious, loving, and kind - a woman to emulate. My loving thoughts go out to Sherry, Jim, and Nancy, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Susan Bacon Williams
I am so sorry for your loss. I am happy that your mother is with her Savior now. I am also happy that you and others were so blessed to have been given the gift of having her for so many years. My prayers are with you and your family.
Margaret was like a second mother to me. Those years at the Capitol Guide Service were formative years for me and transitional ones for her. We supported each other and started a lifelong friendship. To me she epitomized the true Texas lady and she left a mountain of memories and the legacy of a great family. Julie and I will miss her everyday for the rest of our lives.
For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the LORD.
Gone, but never forgotten. I will truly miss you Mrs. Margaret Martin. Our time was short but rich!
I love all who love me. Those who search will surely find me. Proverbs 8:17
I love you much,

Dearest Sherry and family,
My heart and prayers go out to you and yours on the recent loss of a grand role model -- your precious mother and treasured grandmother. Your memories and faith will sustain you. And as hard as it may be to believe right now, as time goes by the grief will erupt less often. At least that has been my experience with several sad losses of dear loved ones.
Cherish the wonderful memories. Honor the values and life lessons Margaret passed on to each of you. She and Crawford gave you a remarkable heritage.
With my deepest sympathy and loving thoughts,
Nancy, Jim & Sherry, your Mom was a blessing to everyone who knew her. The Cason family was very lucky to have you'll as neighbors, friends and fellow Presbyterians. Even though the Martin family left Hillsboro many years ago, your Mom showed up in Hillsboro for many functions through the years and it was always a joy to get a hug from her and hear her familiar voice.
I have wonderful memories of sitting at your Park Drive kitchen table with your Mom busy at the stove and being introduced to white gravy at Mrs. Mash & Ms. Nona's home on Walnut St.
My prayers and love go out to you.
Hugs & love to the Martin family.
We are so sorry for your loss. During the years, Margaret would always send a note to me when she sent in her renewal payment for her newspaper. It has been a long time since I have seen her but will always remember what a sweet lady she was. I know the family will miss her. I remember when her mother and aunt lived next door to my family growing up.
