Sincerest sympathy to Ray and family for MM's passing. Privilege to know her as fellow member of 1960 Summer Urban Project at Judson Church, NYC. Kept in touch through the years but never in person again. Fond memories.
We are grieving for Ray, and for the entire extended family. MM was a wonderful human being, and we're grateful to have known her.
On behalf of the YMCA Texas Youth & Government board we would like to extend our sympathies to the family. Our prayers are with you. We appreciate her efforts in the past for our youth in the program.
We first met in 1996, when a friend suggested I contact Mary Margaret about helping with the first annual Texas Book Festival. I was so blessed to have known and worked with MM on the book festival, as well as, other causes and events over the years. Her boundless energy, vision, commitment, and kindness were such an inspiration. We will all miss her terribly. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family at this very difficult time.
My deepest sympathies are extended to the Farabee family.
Ray and Patty, What an extraordinary woman and an extraordinary loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and my gratitude with with Mary Margaret for playing even a small part in my life. Randall
My prayers for the Farabee family. I worked with Steve for many years and heard a lot of nice things about his stepmother. I'm sure she will be greatly missed.
Ray, please know my thoughts are with you. Both you and MM fought her battle so bravely to the very end. She will be missed.
Patricia I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I have fond memories of sleepovers at your condo on Polo. Your mom was always so nice and such a smart woman.
I was so sorry to read of Mary Margaret's passing, Senator. You are so much in my thoughts and prayers. Laura Smith
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family as we remember this wonderful woman. Mary Ellen Nudd and David Kernwein
I am so very sorry to hear about this. I worked with Mary Margaret at United Bank and vividly remember her zest for life. I remember her beautiful smile!
God has not taken her from you; He has placed her in His heart, that she may be closer to yours.
Peace to her family during this difficult time.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Mary Margaret, I have come to know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good during one's life; (Ecclesiastes 9:11) she was a very remarkable and inspiring person. Many will dearly miss Mrs. Margaret.
Heartfelt condolences to Ray and the rest of the family. You will be in my prayers.
She was such a dear and extraordinary friend to–and advocate of–artists of all kinds, authors and animals. A greater connector of people and causes I do not think I have ever known. She will be greatly missed by so many, but remembered fondly forever by the same. We Love you Mary Margaret.
What a sad loss for Ray, family, friends & Austin.
Deep condolences. You shared a wonderful soul with us. Mary Margaret made Austin the place to be happy because she gave so much of herself.
My heart goes out to Ray and the rest of her family.
A great loss to her community and to all who knew and loved her. Mary Margaret was a rare gift to us all.
We will all miss her insatiable curosity about world affairs and her tireless efforts to make Austin and the world a better place. Our thoughts are with her family and friends.
A great lady. Sympathies to the family.
