B was the most extraordinary individual I ever met. His drive, focus and compassion were limitless. He inspired his associates, of whom I was one for over a decade, to continually improve themselves by setting attainable goals and working hard to achieve them. Linda and I send our deepest condolences to Audre and the rest of the family. Obviously, Bernard Rapoprort will be greatly missed.

A modest philanthropic statesman who never had to hold office to manifest his enormous stature made large by his moral vision and steadfast principle. B was a true American patriot whose name became synonymous with the highest ideals of strong democracy. Benjamin Barber

To Audre and all the Rapoports, my deepest condolences. America has lost one of it's greatest citizens and he will be missed by all those whose lives he touched so personally.

B Rapoport was a great man. He was kind to everyone, supremely ethical, modest, philanthropic, a voracious reader, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and he cared for the downtrodden. I treasure my memories of the times I spent with him. I miss him dearly.

Mr. B,

I worked for you in the 70's when you were near Waco Drive and so active in Common Cause. At UT I followed your philanthropic career in amazement.

You have been and will always be an inspiration.

You were a unique individual and your family here will always be blessed by your presence in their lives.

Vaya con Dios, dear one.
