Ron Murray

Arren, I met your father at a seminar for teachers who needed help with financial planning. He became our financial advisor and dear trusted friend. We had many long visits over the phone, visits at our home, and he even came to our 50th wedding anniversary open house. We will never forget that he took the time to come and celebrate with us. When we visited we always talked about you and about our family. He was so proud of you and so pleased you decided to follow in his footsteps. He assured us that if anything happened to him you would take good care of us. He was such an intelligent, talented, caring and fantastic man. We would like to hear when the memorial is scheduled. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Ron - you were a great neighbor and an even better friend. I will always remember the times we spent working on that Jeep of yours in Volente - even after we almost caught it and your car port on fire a couple times - we finally got it running. My sons both have a warm place in their hearts for you as you were a great neighbor, mentor, and friend to them. We all enjoyed sitting around, having a glass of wine (it's good for the heart), and hearing stories of your adventures sailing, playing music and learning more about your family - you would sure light-up when you bragged about Arren. Fair winds and following seas my friend.

I will miss our FB and text message but not as much as you will be missed. A Candle will all ways burn for you. As you have touched the lives of so many people. Love and Hugs

My Uncle Ron was a great man and will truly be missed.

Arren - You father was the first person I met when I moved with my family to Volente. He and I really hit off as I moved here from San Diego. In fact, he told me that you lived really close to where we used to live in Point Loma. He was an amazingly friendly person and all around good guy. My son and I will miss him dearly. He was very proud of you and spoke of you often. God bless you, Ron.
