Jeff spent the summer of 1974, selling books in sanjose ca. I met him at church, he became my good friend and first love. I went the next summer to his parents home, a ca. Girl learned to two step. My memories are sweet, it saddens me he passed so young...he was so kind and a true friend. I will always remember that summer ....

Jeff was a great coworker and friend. He was always honest, sincere and caring with EVERYONE. He will truly be missed by many and I will cherish the last time many of us saw him where he shared his stories of Haiti, as well as my last few texts/chats with him. The world needs more Jeff Brown's!

I worked with Jeff for many years at the State of Texas. I was always impressed with his depth of knowledge and expertise as well as his character. While very professional at work, Jeff was a joy to spend time with in other settings and had a great sense of humor and a very infectious laugh. He had a great heart and ability to love others. I very much admired who he was as a person and the way he lived his life with such integrity. I will miss him but appreciate that now he is surrounded by a great love.
