Having known Margaret for many, many years now, just the thought of her no longer being a part of our waking world is a tremendous loss. She has always been a constant, even and soulful friend to Gary and I.
She was on hand for many family events surrounding our lives and no doubt has a library of photos dating us back 26+ years.
Her honest temperment and natural ways were qualities in which we found ourselves drawn.
"That Campbell woman" was an ever endearing reference made to Margaret around the bonfire, during a canoe trip on the Colorado or out walking in the woods surrounding Wilbarger Creek.

THERE ARE THINGS I KNOW IN THIS WORLD.
THERE ARE THINGS I WILL NEVER KNOW.

THERE ARE THINGS I THINK I KNOW.
THERE ARE THINGS I HOPE I NEVER KNOW.

THERE ARE MOMENTS IN LIFE WHEN YOU MISS SOMEONE
SO MUCH THAT YOU JUST WANT TO PICK THEM FROM
YOUR DREAMS AND HUG THEM FOR REAL!

THIS IS CALLED LOVE.
THIS IS WHAT I DO KNOW.

J.David what I know of you is that you made her happy. She spoke with *twinkle* when she spoke of you. The work you created together made her proud.

Frannie, we love Margaret. We always will.

I am Bastrop County resident who was also against the mining and will always admire her courage and industry in speaking up for what she believed in. She was a truly amazing woman.
May God bless and comfort her family.
She will be missed.

Dear Frances, Margie and Chris,
Your mom was very special and generous. Her gift of her time and commitment to Central Texas have and will continue to make a difference for generations to come. You are in our thoughts.

Jerry & I only met the Bambergers a few months ago, but they feel like family. Such a wonderful lady as Margaret really impacted the world. Take care, J. David. Sincerely, Jerry & Susan Gatlin
