Our prayers are with you and your family during this time of sadness. May we pray for his Kingdom to come.
August 29, 2014
Altho' my family (except Wendy's) were not especially close to Troy and Kay, he was always "The Colonel". In fact, my husband, Fred, worked for him at Kelly AFB for some time. This meant James Ross was living in San Antonio also at that time. He and Wendy went to far different schools, so their paths didn't cross until they met in San Marcos while attending college there. The Ross's were always very gracious, kind to us.

When Wendy and James married, they felt especially blessed that Wendy was given Kay's wedding dress to wear. Also at any occasion possible, my husband Fred and The Colonel always had plenty to talk about regarding planes, engines, Air Force friends, etc.

We know that gardening was one of the favorite parts of their lives. We always looked fwd to the home made jars of pickles that they sent us at Christmas time.

I'm very sure all the family, friends and neighbors will miss their presence in their lives,

Now, we can focus on the good memories they have shared. May God richly bless all with His peace, mercy and love.
