Four angels to his bed. Four angels round his head. One to watch and one to pray and two to rear his soul away.....good night my buddy.

I am75 and have been inv olved with boxing since 1953. I boxed in Toledo, the Army, and in Detroit while attending the U. of Detroit. I was President of the Toledo Golden Gloves and on the Nat.GG Board and USA Olympic Boxing Committee. The most knowledgeable person I ever knew in my 59 years in boxing was Emanuel Steward. He was honest and always a gentleman. He often brought his boxers to Toledo and was a pleasure to deal with. To me, Emanuel Steward was the undefeated champion of boxing.
Sincerely,
Tom Falvey

An icon has passed on. Detroit and all of the boxing world will miss this great man. I watched his growth over the years, from trainer to analyst. His insightful commentary cannot be replaced. God bless Emanuel Steward and his legacy.
