To the dearest friend that I ever had. We met in 1974 at SOU, And the smile and laughter we had can never be replaced. Tracy we will meet again, just be there to show me the way!!
When thinking of Tracy you have to include John Denver, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Dan Fogelberg, Elton John, and Seals and Crofts. We went to their concerts and Tracy would happily sing along with her awesome voice. Her attitude made the entire experience even more exciting! That was the joy of Tracy! She made everything Fun!
Tracy and I shared so many moments of rich laughter, hilarious events, and amazing memories together she will be forever in my heart. What a wonderful lifetime friend.
When thinking of Tracy, I'm reminded of a quote from Mother Teresa, "We can do no great things, only small things with great love." Tracy did just that - with her family, friends, school kids and all who she met. No one could ever walk away from an encounter with Tracy that didn't feel untouched by her beautiful, generous spirit and smile~ We are all forever Blessed for having the gift of Tracy in our lives.
Tracy had one of the sweetest smiles I have ever seen. She was truly a gifted teacher and I was blessed to have been able to volunteer in her classroom. She will be missed.
Mrs. Herrold, we will miss you....you were such a great teacher...peace be with you.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Ms. Herrold was my children's teacher and she will be missed. RIP Tracy
TRACY'S SMILE LIT UP A ROOM.. ALWAYS VERY POSITIVE AND HAPPY GIRL.. SHE WILL BE MISSED..
Trace was the best friend I ever had - for over 40 years. Trace touched so many people's lives in such a positive way. She was kind, forgiving, generous - and hilarious. I have cried buckets, but the over-riding emotion has been gratitude - deep, deep gratitude that I got to be her friend and have her for as long as I did.
I spoke of you to a professor who is an inspiration to many. I told her about you and the impact you made in your students lives and that they would thank her much as I have thanked you throughout the years. I loved your classroom during my first year of school, also your fist year teaching. It was always a delight to come back and visit too. Look up Mom, she'll live to see you!
My deepest sympathy to Tracy family. May the thought of relatives and friends gives you all encouragement and may God gives you strenght and comfort you and help you all to cope with this difficult time. 2 cor.1:4
I remember having Tracy in my P.E. class and in GAA my first year of teaching. She was always happy, fun to be around and kind to every one.
I started working at the Grade School in 1986 the same year Tracy did. Only I as a custodian and she as a teacher. Tracy was the most sweetest person I have known. Yes her classroom was a challenge to clean but you could see the love that she gave all the children. I left in 2002 to go to the Middle school until retirement in 2005.
Tracy if you can read this, remember Jack the rabbit?
God only takes the best.
Went to same school as Tracy through my childhood and I can still hear that wonderful laugh and smile! She went on to teach many of my grandchildren both at Mehama and Stayton and they loved her how could you not. May your days in heaven be peaceful and joyous!
