What a good guy Huell was. He had an enthusiasm for life that was unequaled. "Thaaaats amaazing".....I'll never forget Huell saying that. We lost another good one.
Huell was a much loved reporter here in Nashville, TN before moving to California. His warm personality and wonderful stories will always be remembered. Our deepest sympathy to the Howser family.
I will miss you. We never met except through my TV but I thought of you as an old fiend. You brought a sense of new wonderment to a lot of places I had been in California and of enthusiastic wonder to the places I want to see. My heartfelt condolences to your family. A family that can take great pride in the joy you brought to everyone who watched your enthusiasm unfold at the places you visited.

Huell has been a part of our lives for as long as we can remember. He did exactly as stated above...he helped us see the magic in our normal every day lives. "Oh my gosh" never sounded so genuine. We loved him as if he was one of our family and we will miss him more than can even be described. His smile...so full of true pleasure. I would be excited to see what new place Huell would be visiting. My husband and I have actually gone to some of those places. We will miss our tour guide.
