Larry Ray Haddon
June 11, 1932 - August 28, 2013
KEIZER - On August 28, 2013, our beloved husband, dad, and grandpa returned to his Heavenly Home. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Larry was born on June 11, 1932 to William and Luella Lyman Haddon in Thornton, Idaho. He is the second of six children. Larry was raised on a little farm in Sheridan, Oregon and attended Sheridan High School.
Larry served in the Air Force from 1951 through 1954. After discharge from the service, he started working for Pacific Northwest Bell, now Century Link and worked in various capacities for 40 years.
Larry married Marilyn Kirby in the Seattle LDS Temple on February 14, 1981. His testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was unwavering. He was blessed to serve in the Portland LDS Temple for 10 years.
Larry is predeceased by daughter Sheri Bird, grandson Todd Maher, and sister, Joyce Bainter. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, three brothers Harlo, Merrill Kent and Dennis Haddon, and sister Judy Wilson. He is also survived by his children, Lori Foelkl, Penny Pressley, and Charlie (Tanya) Haddon as well as step children, Steven Tacy, Kristal (Kevin) Miller, Karri Robinson, KoLyn Tacy (Geoff Frese), Kimberli (Matthew) Cecil, 25 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 31st at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1375 Lockhaven Dr N, Keizer. Viewing will be from Noon to 1:00 pm Saturday at the church.

I am many of the "worker bees" that worked with Larry at Pacfic Northwest Bell and "other companies".This I can tell you that it was never a dull moment working with and around him. It was very hard to keep up with his verbal messages and some days you didn't want to deel with them. Those were the good and fun times when we took care of each other.
