I am very late to the scribner's table. I have been thinking of Tony and how dedicated he was to completing one final mission here in our diocese at Saint Augustine, Florida. This, even though he knew and hid from us that he was suffering from leukemia and knew he was entering into the dying process. Thank you, Tony, for being you. Thank you for ego not supplanting spirit (happens way too often and often with encouragement! ) when you became a Canon. You are one of us here in Florida every bit as you are one of your diocese in England - the Body of Christ universalized! Thanks so much, Tony. (Rev) Guy F. Noonan, S.T.D.

Tony. Thank you for all that you have done for the Lilley familly for the past fifty years. Your compassion, sense of humour and faith have sustained us throughout times good and bad.
You have married us, Christened us and befriended us. God Bless you. Thankfully memories last forever.
