Chuck and I spent six months at Itazuke AB, Japan, as USAF navigators 1956-57, where we had occasion to sing "In the Evening by the Moonlight," a duet that impressed our night-club cohorts enough to rate their requests to sing it again, and again, and again. Chuck made us sound like professionals.

Dear Family: I am an Aquino cousin; my dad Lou was Chuck's first cousin. Spoke to their cousin and Theresa's godmother Rose Cafiero last night to inform her. The rest of the second cousins have also been informed. We are spread out from NJ to Florida. Everyone has found memories of Chuck.
May he rest in peace in the embrace of God, and Uncle Joe and Aunt Jo.

I sang with Chuck for several years at in the cathedral choir, but mostly we saw each other at the pool swimming laps. Chuck impressed all of us "lifer" swimmers with his dedication and his distance--he was many years my senior but he outdistanced me every swim. I, too, am in education, and Chuck and I had several chats across our swimming lanes about the state of affairs as they are in today's version of public education. He championed the idea of expressing opinions as well as letting others express theirs. I sure wish I could have swum next to him one more time. I'm going to miss him and the lanes won't be the same without him. He was well-liked by all. "May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest." God bless, Chuck~

I am sorry for your loss. I remember Chuck when he would volunteer at the Lighthouse years ago. I also will remember him reading his book in the sun at the end of the beach ramp. I am so sorry for your loss
