Dan was my Superman and my best friend right up until he passed. He was and always will be the love of my life. Was he perfect, absolutely not nor was I. But he was perfect in his love for life. He worked hard, played harder. As one of his sons said he ran the wheels right off that wagon. To know Dan was to love him and he can never be replaced. Love you.

I will always remember Mr. Dan. He was a very good friend to me and my family. One memory I have was when he brought over my first four wheeler that was his that my parents got from him for my Christmas gift. I will miss him. Rest in peace Mr. Dan

Dan was one of my truest friends, I had known him since 1989 when we worked at the Naval Depot in Jacksonville, then both transferred to the Marine Maintenance Center in Albany. He was a part of my family. My mind wanders through the years of partying, hunting, laughing together. He has given me a endless supply of stories to tell about our experiences together. I will never forget those blue eyes, that smile and belly laugh. He would have shared anything he had with you and he never met a stranger. I loved Dan like a brother, although we drifted apart the last couple years while he tried to find peace in his life, which I believe he finally did. His memory will always be in my heart.
Until I see you on the other side brother.

As a childhood friend, I missed Danny when he moved away from St Augustine. I recall some fond days near R B Hunt where we grew up. Though we haven't spoken since that time, there have been pleasant memories through the years of that time ago that I'll always cherish. May peace be with all the family and my prayers are with you. Dan was a hard worker, dependable, reliable. He gave me many laughs. I will miss him deeply but will remember his happy spirit.
