It was a pleasure working with Drew starting when Troop Headquarters was on Flagler Street .
A better Man or Trooper there was not.

I was a young girl who was lost! You reached out and opened your home to me. You placed me back in school and showed what a normal family life was like. Never treating me different or like I was second fiddle. You treated me like family. Even though I was no perfect you guided me with your words of wisdom and unconditional love from your big heart. I am very much the person I am today because of you! The times that I made mistakes your talks resonated with me. I could hear the talk in my head the next time and many times after when I would be faced with that same decision that got me in trouble, to begin with. Make deposit you told me once, I tried to do that and still do. Sometimes, Not as much as I would have liked. I am eternally grateful to you and love you more than I ever showed. Heather and Pam, I am so sorry for your loss and wish I could take the hurt away. Daddy Drew will always be in my families thoughts never forgetting what a special man he was. I love you both!

Uncle Drew not only taught me how to attack a seafood buffet (The salad and bread at the beginning are for suckers; dont put anything on your plate until you find the shrimp; when you think youre full, wait 15 minutes and then fill up your again), he also modeled patience, kindness, and expansive hospitality. Im so grateful to him and Aunt Pam for the loving care and attention they gave my grandmother and for the love and interest they showered on me over the years .

Drew and his Mom lived across the street from my Grandmother on Leonardi st. for many years. His good nature will be remembered.
