Minerva Helm Battell, 82, passed away peacefully with her husband, Ray, holding her hand and surrounded by her loving family and white angels. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy in 1953.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ray Battell; her daughter Minnette (Mark) Baker; sons Lock (Shelia) Battell and Scott (Samantha) Battell; daughter Suzanne Baker, and her 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at her daughter's home at 3000 Hilltop Road, St. Augustine. Private interment services will be held later. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Wolfson Children's Hospital in honor of her great grandson Bennett Baker, 841 Prudential Drive, Suite 1300 Jacksonville, FL 32207
Craig Funeral Home Crematory Memorial Park is assisting the family in the arrangements.
