I greatly enjoyed your work and love playing along to your magnificent drumming. Your style was so tight and yet fluid. You will be greatly missed.

Rest in peace...and know that you inspired so many...including an awkward kid from a small town (Morro Bay) in California.

Truly missed and a joy to listen to drumming.

RIP Human Metronome. Your contributions will never be forgotten.

Thank You, Alan, for being part of such a great band. You were part of my growing love of music in my teens as a part of DEVO. I will miss you and your contributions.

Thanks for all the great music, and my sympathies go to your family and friends.

Duty now for the future, Spud. Your music helped me through some pretty rough times. Rest in peace.

Other drummers drew inspiration from Peart, Bonham, Copeland and others, but for me it was Alan. Our Energy Domes will shine a little brighter in your memory.

I remember seeing you and the band for the first time on Letterman when I was 10. My whole family stopped what they were doing to watch "those guys with flower pots on their heads." My life was changed forever. RIP Alan
