In memories to one of our greatest, thank you for caring enough to educate us,(the public) on global warming. May the family take comfort in their memories and may the hope from the Bible at Isaiah 26:19 and Luke 20:37, 38 sustain them.

I worked with Stephen Schneider at NCAR, U.S. Congress where I served as AAAS Fellow for the House Science Committee, at the NAS, and other venues from 1983-1995 when I became disabled with Multiple Sclerosis. I was on the UN Panel 1988 that eventually received the Nobel. I was deeply saddened to hear of Steve's death. He fought the "good fight" and I will always remember his collegiality as a fellow interdisciplinary scientist who also worked in policy. Dr. Sherry D. Oaks, Ph.D. drsdoaks@australia.edu
