Brian, I am so sorry for your loss. I was trying to find old band members from Worms, W. Germany, when I came across Dee's obituary. Again, I offer my condolences and wish you well. Sincerely, Bill Jokela

It was such an honor to know Dee when we taught together in the early '90s. She was an inspirational colleague: encouraging, supportive, and thoughtful. My heart goes out to Brian and their lovely children.
I felt honored to have met Dee at her son, Paul's, marriage reception. Her vibrancy for life, interest, care and concern for other people and overall friendliness so impressed me. I send out my heartfelt condolences to the entire Martz family. I feel honored to have met Dee and to have shared time with her on that wonderful day.
My deepest sympathies to the Martz and Root families. I pray that your special memories of Dee will help fill the hole in your heart and bring a smile to your face.
Dee was an extraordinary woman who touched the lives of people around the world and close to home. She touched my life in countless ways and it was a privilege and honor to work with her, beside her, and for her. I'll always be grateful I had that time with her, and I'll never forget all I learned from her.
Rest in peace, dear Dee. Your work here is done, but you live forever in our hearts.
