Every platoon needed a medic like Roger to take care of us in the field. Thank you, Roger, for all that you did for my men. SSG George "Rob" Robinson
Roger taught us what a "great" uncle was. He knew how to make us laugh and he could brighten any room. He always remembered our birthdays and came to every important event of ours, as kids. He had such a big heart and filled ours with wonderful memories. We will miss you deeply, Uncle Roger.
Taken way too soon. Our deepest sympathy to Roger's family and friends. He will remain in our thoughts and prayers.

Our hearts are heavy today. We went through it all together, my brother. You always did make sure you had the best sleeping spot out every night out in the jungle!! We all knew we were at your mercy!!!!! Thanks for being the best medic D/2/501 ever had.
Sorry to hear of his passing, Roger got drafted the week I came home and it was the worst time to be in Vietnam. I hope he found some peace at last.
I have nothing but good memories of Roger. He served our country honorably for which I'm eternally grateful. May he rest in peace.
