Mary, you were my best friend in High School and we had alot of good memories, just so sorry we never keep in touch after you moved up-north. May God always keep you in his loving arms and my deepest sympathy goes out to your family.

Of Custer died Thursday, November 22, 2012 surrounded by her loving family at St. Josephs Hospital in Marshfield.

Age 48 Mary was born on September 22, 1964 in Milwaukee. She is the daughter of Odilia (Helback) Kohlbeck and the late James Kohlbeck.

Her marriage to Carl Trzebiatowski took place on July 26, 1986 at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Church in Custer. Last year the couple celebrated their twenty fifth wedding anniversary.

Mary's compassion and love of children led her into her career as a pre-school teacher, graduating from Mid-State Technical College with her certificate in early childhood education.

Mary was a Pre-School teacher for twenty nine years in the Stevens Point Catholic Schools and with the Noel Learning Center.

“Teacher Mary” will be remembered affectionately by scores of Stevens Point children and parents for the exceptional nurturing care she gave her students.

Mary was a member of St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Church in Custer and was active in several church activities.

She enjoyed Bingo, going to church picnics, polka music, building puzzles, card parties, helping her cousin in cooking for weddings, camping and volunteering for the Special Olympics.

Her favorite time was spending time with family and friends, especially her daughters, the two loves of her life.

Survivors include her husband Carl of Custer, her two daughters Stacy (special friend Kyle Stoltz) and Rachel (special friend Justin Nelson) all of Custer.

Her mother Odilia “Dee” Kohlbeck of Milwaukee. Two brothers Joseph of St. Francis, WI, and Ronald of Greenfield, WI. One sister and best friend Karen (Darin) Pawlowski of Franklin, WI.

She is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father James, one brother Kenneth, and grandparents Stephen and Hedwig Helback and Joseph and Martha Steckler.

Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and friend. Mary was lovable, sweet and kind and will be missed greatly by everyone that was a part of her life, including her kitty “Tiger”.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 1, 2012 at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Parish in Custer. Rev. Jude Dioka officiating. Family and friends may call from 9:30 AM Saturday morning at St. Mary's Church until the time for mass. The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home of Stevens Point is honored to be serving the family. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.pisarskifuneralhome.com

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at St. Josephs Hospital in Marshfield for their compassionate care.

To the Family of Mary, I am an old friend from high school. I have been trying to find her for a while now. A fellow classmate of ours that works up there in one of the court houses came across her obituary and contacted me. I am sorry to hear of your loss. My Prayers are with you, and may she rest in Peace. I, along with my friend Julie have forwarded her obituary to our other classmates. (Fellow Notre Dame H.S. Classmate & Friend of 1982) As Mary would say "82" RULES! :)
