When I came to Stevens Point as a young college student in 1962, I roomed with Jackie and Bill's niece, Sally Kalt, and the Hoppens and the Hansons graciously welcomed me into their homes. I have such fond memories of that time and of the generosity of those families.I have made my home in the Point area ever since and Jackie and I would run into each other out and about. She always stopped for a visit and many smiles. She was a lovely, gracious woman, who will be missed by all who knew her. My condolences to her family. Sally Clanton

Jackie always had a smile when she came to visit Bill at the nursing home. It was such a joy to see them together. She will truly be missed. Wishing your whole family finds peace and comfort during this difficult time

Condolences to all the Hoppen kids. We will sure miss having Jackie around -- one of our great bridge club palls. She was a great lady and wonderful friend.

George and Family, We feel fortunate to have had Jackie for a neighbor on Regent Street. We had many talks and her smile and laugh were contagious. One of my favorite times was when she would say she was be going on a date with your Dad. Sure enough she would meet the Portage County Home bus at Pfiffner Park for the city band concert and sit there with him on their date. She was a good thinker, great sense of humor and classy lady. We are honored to have known her. Our Sympathy to all of you. Bill and Ann Yudchitz

Kurt- You and your family are in our prayers. I only met your mother once, but we talked alot about our families in boot camp, so I felt I knew her well.
