Kira would be 40 this November. Even outsiders like myself. Found her to be a warm & caring woman, who was in the prime of her life.

Kira still speaks. I am struggling to recover from cancer surgery ~ it is several months now and it has been very pain filled and discouraging. To distract, I am watching television and Kira's story appears. I cannot stop watching and as a mother and grandmother, my heart is broken. I then Google and read her obituary and learn of Pura Vida and I realize that I have just found my courage. I ordered a Pure Vida bracelet and will wear it daily in memory of Kira. She is now an Angel in my life as I know she was in your family. Thank you for having the courage to tell her story. I cannot imagine how many hearts you have reached. Thank you for reaching mine!

Friends are kisses blown to us by angels…
Kira was missing for 77 days. I searched. Kira's powerful passion for life united hundreds of strangers, a handful of friends, and her determined family together during these 77 days. I am proud to call you all my friends.
Kira taught me that life is short. She taught me that even when I am feeling defeated, giving up is not an option. Her family taught me that “family” means that nobody is left behind. I learned that blood does not define family.
I never had the pleasure of knowing Kira, but grew to know her through her friends and family while searching and on the road for justice. The stories of how she always blinked when having her photo taken, how much she loved Caribou Coffee, her dog, family, Riesling, and how she wasn't the best of drivers, but was always first to pick them up when called. Everyone said that Kira could brighten anyone's day, just by flashing her beautiful smile. Kira ~ Your story will continue to change lives forever. You will never be forgotten. Pura Vida Kira!

When God calls us to dwell with Him above, we always question the wisdom of His love. For no heartache can compare with the death of one we love, who does so much to make the world seem wonderful and mild. Perhaps God tires-always calling the aged to His fold, and so He picks a rosebud before it can grow old. God knows how much we need them and so He picks but few! To make the land of heaven more beautiful to view. “Believing this is difficult”, yet somehow we must try, for the saddest word that mankind knows will always be "goodbye". And so when our loved ones depart we who are left behind, must realize how much God loves them...for angels are hard to find. I'm so sorry for your loss of a beautiful soul…….
