RIP TO ALL THE SHOOTING VICTIMS U ALL WILL BE MISSED LOVE GOES OUT TO YOU YOUR FAMILEY AND FRIENDS GOD BLESS U AND YOUR FAMILEY AND FRIENDS
August 31, 2010
To the families:
May the consoling words from family and friends continue to strengthen you during this difficult time, and may you find comfort in the encouraging words found in the last book of the Holy Scriptures: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

May the wonderful memories of your loved one continue to provide a measure of comfort to you--until God's promises are fulfilled. Matthew 5:5; Psalms 37:11, 29

To the Families,
Why?
That has to be the most prominent question going through your minds...Why?
The effect of that tragic day will continue rippling through your lives as you define that shocking moment in time as either "before..." or "after..." the loss of your loved one.
Why?
Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your dear loved ones. And try to draw comfort from Gods word the Bible at (John 5:28,29) and Ecclesiastes 9:11~ “I returned to see under the sun that the swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise also have the food, nor do the understanding ones also have the riches, nor do even those having knowledge have the favor; [ Why?] because time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all.”
Again, I’m sorry for your loss…

To the Carter Family,
I've never met you but my family/friends knew Carlton. I'm a native of St. Louis, living in GA, and I'm really sorry that this type of tragedy still exists. I'm so sorry Carlton (and all the other ones) were innocent victims. I pray that God puts his arms around your family and comforts you during this very sad time. Remember how he LIVED life, not how it was taken.

Deepest Sympathies,

Dear Carter Family,

Went to work like any other day. It was not any other day. Everybody's life changed that day. So many untold stories. So many heros that nobody will know. One thing I know for sure

God needed a good fisherman,
a linebacker, and a person to photograph it all.

Our memories are golden, farewell my friends..

On behalf of the Associates of Cummins Mid-South, we would like to send our deepest condolences to the Wilson Family and everyone touched by this tragedy at ABB.

A tragedy of this nature touches many lives and leaves all of us with a huge void in our hearts.

While we will never fully grasp the reasons for such a senseless act of violence, we can all rejoice that through our Lord’s Grace and Salvation we will be together again with Cory and all of our fallen brothers from ABB… this time for eternity!

Over the past couple of years, I have had the pleasure to work and get to know Don Wilson (Proud Father of Cory Wilson). When the two of them were together you could see the mutual love and respect each had for one another. It was easy to see the gleam in Don’s eye whenever Cory was around and rightfully so… Cory was an Impeccable Son, Star Athlete, Youth Volunteer, Coach, Brother and Grandson. Cory loved life and had a huge impact on so many people.

We ask the Lord to grant all of those impacted by the tragedy at ABB, peace and healing!

Carlton was such a good friend.....I could talk to him about anything and I believe he felt the same way. It was about 2 years ago since I last seen Carlton. When I saw him two years ago it was as though no time had passed since we last saw one another. He was an intelligent man who didn't have time for a lot of nonesense. He was also an excellent photographer and whenever I needed him to take pictures he was always there! I know he was crazy about his daughters. This is such a tragedy and my heart goes out to the Carter family as well as the rest of the victims and their family. Please know that God will get you through this. Again, I will truly miss my friend Carleton.
January 12, 2010
To all of the family members who have lost their loved one, I am so sorry.
To all of the friends and co-workers who are also feeling the pain and grief, I feel it with you. At the onset of the reporting of this tragedy, I kept saying to myself 'not Carter, not Carter' and I have not seen Carlton in years but when it comes to tragic events, it's like yesterday. Carlton had a wonderful spirit, a contagious smile and a glorious laugh, he will be missed even more now. As I drive pass the plant almost daily, I feel the pain but I know, 'this too shall pass'. God Bless
January 12, 2010
To the Carter Family - My deepest sympathy. Carlton and I were friends for fifteen years. Over the years, I had the pleasure of meeting all of you and he spoke of you often. I saw the closeness and love that you shared as a family. It is because of your closeness and love for each other that you find comfort and draw strength from each other when facing the days ahead.

I will miss him. His smile and that bouncy walk will be forever etched in my memory.

To the ABB Family in St. Louis - My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in the loss of a family member, coworkers, and friends. For the employees that are recuperating I pray for your full and speedy recovery.

To All - When we lose a love one to death, It is perfectly normal to grieve. We must honor and recognize each stage of grief and every emotion we have. We will eventually come to a point of understanding and accepting there is no death; there is no end; there is only transformation. Our love one now exist in a new time, a new place, a new reality - an so do we. The relationship as we knew it has transformed from the physical to the spiritual; it has not ended; it has changed. When we allow ourselves to grieve, we release the negative thoughts and emotions that make it easier to accept the change. We owe it to ourselves and the memory of the relationship we each had with Carlton to grieve and cleanse our souls.
May God comfort us all.

I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know any of the victims, but my brother worked with them. Please know there is a vast amount of people out here whose thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. We will keep you in our prayers.

Terry Mabry was a man of integrity, courage and, most important, faith. Things I learned from him:
-Just because you are higher on the org chart, does not mean you are the better man.
-Respect your employees for their knowledge as well as their efforts, have high expectaions and they will come through.
-It's amazing what can be accomplished, if you are not concerned about getting the credit.

I was young when I worked with Terry and believed I knew everything. He was always gentle in pointing out that I didn't. He was a family man, comfortable in his own skin and blessed with the peace that comes from a close relationship with God. He was taken way to early from us and I cannot imagine the grief that brings to friends and loved ones. My prayers are with you.

To Terry, may the catfish in Heaven be as big as Chevies. Amen, brother.

This senseless violence action leaves a big question: WHY? I had the honour to work as a first "foreign" employee at St Louis plant from 1993 to 1995. My memories are very positive from those years. Because of so many friendly persons I could feel I'm one of the team. One of those friendly persons was Terry, always positive and warm. It's hard to understand that he's now been taken away. My deepest expression of condolence to all of you affected by this tragedy.

Being an employee at the St. Louis plant for 32 years I know all of the people. While I know some better than others all are held close to my heart. Terry was one of the few people that I truly called "FRIEND". While I did not know Cory very well, I have known Don and Vickie for years and I send them my deepest condolences. I knew Carlton to be a very sincere an honest person. He was one of the people in my life that I consider a privilege to have known. We discussed Photography often. To the families of the people mentioned above, the people that were injured and their families, and all that were directly involved in this tragedy words can not express my feelings.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I don't really know the way to say how Sorry I am to hear about all of this. Its so very sad. Terry, Carlton, as well as Tim were terrific friends during my years at the St Louis plant. RICH I only remember Cory as a young guy and how proud you were of him.
There was a time of great sadness in my life that all of them as well as Dave C. and Jim Bart... and so many others at ABB helped me to find hope in my life. Terry even gave me one of his lucky Buckeyes for good luck and to cheer me up. I will never forget their good hearts.
After retiring for these past 10 years, I have talked about all of them so many times to everyone I know and what a joy it was to be able to be called one of their friends.
No one knows how heartbroken all of you are at this time and how tragic this truly is for each and everyone of you. I pray for you all in hopes of finding some peace in your hearts and joy in the memories of how God let us know them all as they helped to shape our lives as a family of workers and friends.

To all of the Carter family, we are all praying for you here in Georgia. We will miss Carlton deeply, but the memories will keep us. I remember when Uncle Jake brought the family home one summer, and some of the family were at Daddy Doc's and some others at Aunt Gloria's then somehow everyone ended up on Fairground Street at Granny's (Essie Shannell) house. I can recall another time at the family reunion in Atlanta at Aunt Loise house, when Kim & Carlton thought they were Bootsy Collins. We had so much fun those are the memories that will keep us all. Grace and Peace,

January 08, 2010
Terry Mabry was my father's best friend and a dear friend of mine and my entire family. Terry was one of the funniest men I have ever known, always there with a joke and a smile to make you feel better. Every year we went to North Carolina on family vacation and made so many memories together. I will never forget his "Charlie Brown Christmas Trees" he would hand select year after year, because according to Terry even the ugliest trees needed a good home. He was a great husband, father, son and very much apart of my family. Terry held me when I was a infant and watched me grow and I am so thankful that God has blessed my family with such a dear friend. My heart goes out to all the families that were effected by this day of sadness. God bless all of you for the support and out pour of prayers very needed at this time.
