So sad. Joe carried a message of hope and service to all he met. A great man. He will be missed.

Joey I dont know where to start. You JImmy and Angie have to be my oldest friends. i can remember Angie and I standing at the bus stop watching Mark Denise Kurt Jimmy Laurie and you heading off to school knowing when you guys got back we would be getting into trouble somehow as kids always do. The memories of making hot wheels race tracks in your back yard to wiffleball tournaments in Latinette and Whittets back yard to football in your side yard and the old basement have always put a smile on my face. Cant forget sled riding down the hill by the old pink trailer and the many trips to Kerrs market for candy. As we got older times got funner. I'll leave that one alone. Wish i would have made more of an effort to look you up so we could have talked about these things together. Thanks Duvall for reminding me of Johnny Reb. I completely forgot about that but when i read it it also put a smile on my face. Joey when I get to heaven their will be a few things I will have to take care of first but I promise i will look you up so we can once again re live those good old times. Mine and Jorjas thoughts , prayers and deepest sympathy are with you and your family God Bless you all

So many fond memories of Joe coaching and at kids' soccer and baseball games. He was truly a positive influence in my son (Owen's) life and many others. All our prayers and thoughts are with Karen and the kids.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Just this 4th of July I was home visiting. When my sister and I drove by their old neighborhood, we laughed and reminisced about how much fun we had with Jim and Joe. He will be very much missed.

Though nothing any of us can say will be enough, please know that all of us from Joe's class are heartbroken to hear of this tragic loss. Our prayers are with Karen and the kids.
