As a very young woman, I worked with Dr. Alex. I will never forget his dedication, his sense of humor and his passion. I loved running into him at the hospital over the years where he always had time to chat and reflect on life, especially his loving wife, Pearl. I am very saddened by his death and I extend my hearfelt sympathy to his family. Joyce Linn

Dr. Alex was a delight to be with. He never stopped learning and questioning, and was willing to hear your side of a matter. We enjoyed having hearings together at Social Security because it gave us a chance to pick up our discussion where we left off. I am honored to have known him and counted him as a friend. He enriched my life. I know that his life and legacy will be celebrated by his family. May the Lord bless and comfort you with wonderful memories of an extraordinary man.

Dr. Alex was a wonderful person, My father Henry Loew and him were good friends back in the 1960's when they both befriended a German Refugee, Rose Elberg. She had no family so her friends became her family. My deepest condolences to the whole Alex Family.

Dr. Alex was such an extraordinary person. He was a very postitive man who was always willing to offer words of encouragement and words of wisdom to people who were fortunate enough to be in his presence. I will miss him dearly but I am gratefully blessed because of the deposits he made in my life. His family will remain in my prayers and have my sincerest condolences.

To the Alex family......I am so sorry for your loss. Dr. Alex was a remarkable man. I'll never forget when I was a child how much he scared me when he would answer the phone in his deep, stern voice "Dr. Alex speaking" and I would just hang up! But he was a great guy!
