SEMPER FI - FELLOW VETERAN -
THANK YOU - FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY
You are one of our heroes.
We will remember you always and miss you dearly.
Take your Warrior's rest for a duty well done.

I wish to extend to members of your family my deepest sympathy on their loss.
May the force of GOD be with them as they walk through this difficult time.
May the loving promises of our LORD and Savior comfort them and give them strength.

On behalf of a grateful nation we leave our sympathy and a small token of appreciation
for the honorable and faithful service rendered by your loved one to our Country.

SEMPER FI,

My moom, Janet May worked with Bob at the bank for many years. She had the highest of praise for him and valued their friendship. He was so kind to her and all the bank's retirees, attending a monthly luncheon that he provided. My sympathies.

Carol, so sorry to hear about Bob. If I remember correctly, he recommended that I be in Eden Care Center. I truly appreciated it. My sympathy.

Although it has been many years since I spoke with Bob, I still remember how he helped me through the financing of my educational expenses...and I know there are many individuals who have similar stories over the years! Bob was a class indiviual who has left his indelible mark on his associates, colleagues, community and industry. My thoughts and prayers are with the Wetzel family and I hope the many rememberances and memories help sustain you through this difficult time.

The EHS Class of 1955 is mourning the loss of our classmate and friend. Bob will always be remembered for his kindness to individuals and his work towards community improvement. He and Carol graciously opened their home to our class reunion's casual Friday night gatherings. Many of us will have wonderful memories from the time Bob was still called Robert in grade school, his time at EHS, and his time at the Bank of Edwardsville. Our condolences to his family.

The world just lost one of the truly "good guys" . . . condolences to the family.

I didn't have the privilage of knowing Bob for very long but he brightened my day when I would see him. He will be sadly missed. My condolences go out to his wife Carol as well as to the rest of the Wetzel Family in this time of sorrow.
