George Bara Obituary

Bara, George 89, of Peachtree City, GA, previously from Aurora, IL, passed away July 13, 2013. He served in the Army Air Corp as a pilot of a B-25 during WWII and was stationed in the Philippines. After the war he was a painting contractor in Aurora until his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Helen Mary Caldwell-Crowell Bara; children, Mary Kay Streck, Susan Bara Cornwell, Robert "Bob" (Connie) Bara, Margaret "Peg" (Steve) Bernard and Joan (George) Ribarchick; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 18, 2013, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City. There will be a memorial mass at Holy Angels Church in Aurora on September 1, 2013, at 11:00 AM followed by a small gathering of friends in Connor Hall in honor of his memory. Thank you so leaving me with such loving and other numerious memories and passing on your values. Honest, caring, sharp and a fighter to the end - oh ....a mischievous side to!!! You always had the grand-kids guessing. You're smiles were infectious.
