Sorry to hear about Red. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
It was a pleasure knowing Red through the exercise class. Everything that has been said is true. What an inspiration to all of us. Always a pleasant smile...with a twinkle in his eye. Before leaving for vacation, I had the pleasure to visit with him at Alden. I'm glad I had that time, just to sit and talk of things. with him.
Thanks, Warren. You were and always will be a blessing to us.
My deepest sympathies. I was very saddened to hear of his passing. Warren and Daisy were customers of mine whom I looked forward to seeing everytime they would visit. I loved hearing Warren's stories and seeing his pictures of when he was in service.
He always talked about his memories from when he was in service and of course his family who he loved so much, including his grandkids.
Heaven has gained an Angel.
God Bless him and his family.
I didn't have the pleasure to have known Red that long but I have to say, and I'm sure everyone in my family would agree .... Red was the best medicine my dad could have ever had while they both recovered at Alden and shared a room. He was a remarkable man with such a kind and giving heart. Thoughts and prayers to all of you. May all the wonderful memories you have of Red ease your sadness and loss in the days ahead.
gone............but never forgotten
Warren was my neighbor, landlord and friend for the past 14 years. He treated me like family, always had kind words to say of everyone he knew and had a generous heart. He loved talking to my dogs, and they loved his attention. I will miss his war stories and times spent doing lawn work together. The community lost a wonderful man, and the country lost a war hero. My thoughts and prayers are with the Dixon family during this time.
Thank you for your service Mr. Dixon. My deepest sympathies to the Dixon Family.
So sorry for your loss.
We were Reds neighbors for 4 yrs. Very nice man who will be missed.
I am so sorry for your loss. Red was a great guy and was such a big part of my Dad's recovery. He will be greatly missed by all.
I enjoyed having breakfast with Red at the Fox Valley Veteran's Club and especially remember him from a benefit BBQ in Kendall County to raise funds for Honor Flight. Honored to have known him and to have been in his company. Thank you for your service, Red, in the military and throughout your life. We were all blessed to know you.
I remember this kind gentleman when I worked with him in the legal field.
Your Father was a remarkable man -- a contributor -- who had a zest for life. I always smile when I think of him and your Mother and what great partners they were.
My condolences and prayers.
You were the best, Uncle Warren! A beacon of positivity on all of us. You truly lived a great life and constantly gave back to your community. I will miss your laughs and stories but never forget them.
Dear Maryagnes, Warren and Katie.
What a great 97 years your Dad LIVED ... always getting the most from life and sharing this gift with the rest of us. Red and Daisy were two of my favorite Realtors and valuable resources to me.
You are all in our prayers.
