I worked with Pat at AT&T for 30 years. We always talked about cars, being in the service and politics. In more recent years we exchanged emails, mainly about cars. I will miss him.

I have known Pat since he came back to work at Western Electric Montgomery after his USAF service. We have been good friends throughout the years sharing jokes, stories and our love of aircraft during that time, along with exchanging photos of aircraft. The last time I was in Illinois Pat and I met for lunch and then ventured to the airport to reminisce our mutual love of aircraft. Over the years since I left Illinois Pat and I have stayed in contact via E-Mail and telephone remembering our time at Western Electric and AT&T and those we worked with. I was greatly saddened when Pat informed me of his illness. I still check my email daily hoping to have a message from him. Godspeed my friend, you have a wealth of people that are saddened and will miss your friendship, but thankful for the time we've had and hope to join you in the next life.

I owe Pat a debt of gratitude for the many things he taught and shared with me in the computer field. Because of his wonderful help, I was able to create a second career in the computing world.
