LeRoy Hopp Obituary

Hopp, LeRoy K. 84 of Elgin passed away on October 17, 2012 at Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. He was born September 21, 1928 in Elgin, IL the son of John Jr. and Catherine Hopp. LeRoy loved the out doors and owned and operated Hopps Camps for 18 years on Wollaston Lake In Saskatchewan, Canada. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Nola, his beloved son, Randolph and also many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, and 2 sisters, Eleanor Jernberg and Rosemary Dummer. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. in the Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St. Elgin, IL. Interment will be in Bluff City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 PM in the funeral home. For additional information 847-741-8800 or www.lairdfamilyfuneralservices.com.
