To the Family of Coach Ken Parker,
I met Coach Parker in 1960. He was my Freshman Physical Education Instructor at JTHS. After I completed college, he and I were again associated. Mr. Parker and I were both Staff Administrator at JJC (he was Director of Physical Department - I was Director of Student Financial Aids). Throughout the life experiences we shared, and because I sincerely respected him; I never felt comfortable addressing Mr. Parker by his first name. Therefore, he "IS" and will always be in my memory, Mr. Parker; a Gentleman, My Coach, My Co-Worker and most profoundly, Mr. Parker was my "FRIEND" and a "GOOD HUMANBEING". God has blessed all who knew him. Because of Mr. Parker's dedication and as a result of Mr. Parker's compassion for all of us. Coach Parker (Our Coach) prepared each us for this moment, we must not fail him, we must now continue the good work Mr. Parker started (Coaching), teaching the next generation to succeed.
