I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Voss. I only wish I had known about it sooner so I could have attended his funeral. I would have liked to pay my respects to him and his wife as they were so good to me at Millikin while Diane was my roommate. Since I was not able to so at the funeral, I will do it here. I would like to thank them for treating me so kindly during my college years. They were always so diligent about including me when they came to visit their daughter and would always greet me with a big hug. I will never forget those kind gestures of a truly gracious man. Wishing you and your family strength and peace.

Gus was just a wonderful Godly man. My husband and I always enjoyed our visits with him while he would do our taxes. I pray the wonderful memories you as a family have of Gus will put joy in your hearts even in this season of grief.

I worked with Gus at Gregory Electric for about 5 years. To me Gus was the epitome of integrity. I loved to tease him - and he would tease me right back! I typed his and Maxine's Christmas letter when I worked at Gregory. I will always have very fond memories of this wonderful man. My condolences to his wife, children and grandchildren.

Our hearts go out to you Maxine and your family. I worked at Kroehler's with Gus and he did our taxes for years and years. He also went to school and lived in the same neighborhood with my mother Dorothy Baki Boynton. Whenever, Gus would do her taxes they would have the best time remembering all the good times they had as kids. Mom sends her sympathy to you as well. We will keep you all in our prayers.
Sincerely,
Pete and Mary Lou Kreinbrink

Our sympathies to the entire Voss family. I always enjoyed watching Gus interact with my nieces Sara and Elizabeth when they were young. He had a gentle and caring manner about him.

There aren't words to express all that Dad is and was to each member of the Voss family. Dad was our rock...our hero. We are so thankful he is with the Lord. If only he hadn't left such a hole in our hearts when he went home to glory.
