Dear Mr. Cybulski, Celeste, Van, Mark and Angie,
I am so sad to hear of Wally's passing. I know your hearts must be broken. In reading through the comments here, the common thread was that he was funny and people enjoyed his company. Clearly this is a Cybulski Family trait, living on in each one of you.

I'm so sorry to say farewell to such a nice, funny, respectful man. Oh the laughs we shared at the police dept (ext. #467)made unthinkable situations bearable. Wally's impersonations (Harry Carey - "Let me hear ya...") as well as many others were simply the best. A pleasure knowing you Wally and I can't help but smile through the sadness when I think about you my friend. My prayers and thoughts are with the entire Cybulkski family.

Growing up with Wally living a block over is some of my fondest memories. Whenever I saw him he always had such a positive outlook on life and enjoyed it.

Sorry to hear of the loss of Wally. He was a great guy, when I worked in Waukegan he was on the auto theft task force and he was one heck of a guy, always making you laugh, he was among a lot of great men and women at WPD and he always stood out. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Mark and Van, words alone can not express how sad we are finding out about Wally. The endless memories of all the good times on Crest Court and Grove Ave. are still fresh in my head. I pray to the good lord above that he hands down some comfort to you both and to all the family.
To the entire family of such a delightful man....I truly enjoyed the brief moments I was in Wally's presence at the VFW...he always made me laugh and I enjoyed trying to get that half cocked smirk from him. My sincerest condolences to you...I know he'll be greatly missed.
