Be assured that God is near to those who call on him. Psalm 145:18

It was my great privilege to work with Jeff early in both of our careers at Burr Oak Tool. Jeff was willing to join with me in doing experiments with tooling. Together with Larry Thornton, another great person who has passed on, we pushed back the frontiers of manufacturing technology. Our experiments led to changes in our manufacturing processes that great improved the quality and the quantity of the work we could produce. It also led to dramatic cost savings in many areas. Jeff was a pleasure to work with and we had real fun pushing back the frontiers together. Later in life I was able to reconnect with Jeff in the world of scouting. I was delighted to be able to recall our past adventures together and to observe the great work he was doing with his troop. Jeff is exactly the kind of scoutmaster that any boy should have. I am saddened that the Lord saw fit to reassign Jeff to a Heavenly assignment early in life. He will be sorely missed by his wonderful wife, children, and grandchildren. They are all a great testament to the man. Jeff will do a great job with that Heavenly assignment. I look forward to the coming day when I can talk with him again.
