Deepest sympathy to the families of the typhoon Haiyan victims. As you remember your loved ones, rely on God's word for comfort and strength, during this difficult time.[Isaiah 12:2 and Romans 15:4]

To the Families:
Although your hearts are weighed down and the future looks uncertain, the situation is not hopeless. The present woes, including the stormy conditions in human society, add to the evidence that relief is near. Do not blame God for the natural disasters experienced today. He is not the cause of these at all! Many who have experienced these natural disasters have said that they relied on God, and “he took care of us.” You, too, have somebody who cares.
No matter what the cause of our distress, we can all cope if we focus our attention on “the God of all comfort.” He will give us the strength required to continue on faithfully.—2 Cor. 1:3-6. Keep your eyes focused on the sure hope and have confidence like that of the apostle Paul, who said: “For this very cause I am also suffering these things, but I am not ashamed. For I know the one whom I have believed, and I am confident he is able to guard what I have laid up in trust with him until that day.”

I am a survival of hurricane Katrina.
It was devastating, I lost everything.
Prayers are very powerful, and that is
what we all need.
At Psalms 65:2, it mentions that God
is a hearer of prayers.
I pray that He watches over the
the families and heal and mend their
broken hearts.
