I starting reading her column in The Chcago American in 1966. I was 10 years old! I read Ann Landers in The Sun Times as I got older! I still hit the website every night after midnight to read the column. My thoughts go out to the family for their loss. She will be missed. I still read 2 newspapers eavery day

R.I.P. Dear Abby, You are going to be missed very much. You was a Wonderful person for helping other people.

I grew up reading Ann Landers. I first read Dear Abby when I was in the military. One could tell the difference between the two slightly. When I first read her column I figured it was the same person, just changed her name for a different paper. I enjoyed reading both. Dear Abby seemed to have more of the common person touch. Its a sad to see both of the m gone. Be rest assured to all those folks out here they helped, they will never be forgotten. My Condolences to the Family.

I was deeply saddened by the news of your passing. The world has lost a legend and I feel like I've lost my BFF. I have laughed, cried and related, where will I go now? You will truly be missed.
