Betty Ingle Cleveland Turcotte, 86, of Waveland, MS passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017.
She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, step-mother, sister-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt who will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She was of the Presbyterian faith.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bert Barnett; parents, Sarah and Louis Cleveland; brother, Clinton Cleveland and sister, Ann Colwell.
She is survived by her husband, Walter F. Turcotte, Jr. of Waveland, MS; three step-sons, Walter F. Turcotte, III (Carleen) of Snellville, GA; David B. Turcotte (Mary) of Kiln, MS and Stephen C. Turcotte (DeeDee) of Waveland, MS; three daughters, Sandra Ebner (Mark) of Danville, CA; Ann Barnett (John Schroder) of Oakland, CA and Jacquelyn Barnett (William Sharp) of Martinez, CA; step-daughter, Lauren E. Turcotte of Waveland, MS; sister-in-law, Shirley Piazza of Waveland, MS; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Cheryl and Dale Bilbo family, Southern Hearts Hospice, Bree, Evelyn, Barbara, and Felicia. Dr. Bruce Saylor and Staff, Father Michael Marascalco, Juanita Beltran, Velma Ladner, Ms. Alberta Laneaux and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, from 10:00 am until 11:30 am with a memorial service at 11:30.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Stephen, thanks for correcting me. Mary was the one I worked with and it's an odd thing, because when I read the obit, I was surprised as I thought she had died when my son was very young. For your Dad to pick Betty, however, she must have been very special.

It's been over 40 years since I worked with Mary at Hancock General Hospital, but I still remember her kindness to me as I was hired to be the secretary to a hospital administrator who had not been the favored pick. To say it was a tough political hire is putting it mildly! She was such fun and I still remember her talking about Walter and particularly Lauren. Am thinking of your family during this difficult time.
