To the Komppa Family,

I offer my sympathy for your great loss and my prayers in your time of grieving. The overwhelming pain you feel today will fade as the memories of your son, father and husband grow brighter. Take comfort in knowing that America will never forget its hero, Charles Komppa, and his family.

Julianne Kirst
Sister of Lcpl Michael Derrig, KIA Vietnam, 1968, age 19
