Clifford Paul "Skip" Hopwood, age 62, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in Gulfport.
Skip was born on September 14, 1950 in Beverly, Massachusetts to the late Walter Hopwood Jr. and the late Audrey M. Eckman Hopwood, both of Rhode Island.
Skip was a resident of Long Beach, Mississippi, and employed with Gulf Coast Canteen. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Janet C. Johnson Hopwood; daughter, Kristen A. O'Rourke Boyer; son, Kevin P. Hopwood; grandson, Alexander J. Boyer; brother, Richard J. Hopwood and wife Derrith, all of Long Beach; brother, Walter A. Hopwood and wife Nadine of Warwick, RI; sister, Karen L. Hopwood Kelly and husband Mike of Hope, RI; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach. Tributes may be offered at www.riemannfamily.com

Richard I am so sorry for you and your families loss. I only had the pleasure of meeting Clifford one time. But I thought he was a very careing and loving brother to you. He loved you so much i could see it in everything he did around you. He will alway's be with you in your heart.
