To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Mama, our sadness knows no end;
We can't believe you're gone;
We're grieving for you everyday;
It's hard to carry on.

You were always there to support and care;
When we needed a true friend,
How we'll ever do without our mama,
We cannot comprehend.

You were our teacher and our guide,
Our mama, so good and strong;
Your example will sustain us now,
And last our whole lives long.

We're trying to communicate;
We hope that you can hear;
Expressing what we feel for you,
Helps us feel you're near.

Our memories of the times we had
Helps the pain to go away.
But mama, our lives won't be the same;
We'll MISS YOU everyday!
A part of us went with you;
You left a gap too big to fill;
You're our mama and our hero;
We love you and we always will.

MAMA, I LOVE AND MISS YOU SO MUCH!

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

To Rabbit and famiy,I am so sorry for your loss. Just remember your mother will always be with you and watch over you. She was a good person with a good heart.

December 12, 2010

It is very hard to let go of someone who has been a rock for you, a foundation of love, support and kindness. Nothing can compare to a mother's love for her children. Keep her love strong in your heart and that way she is never very far away. The veils between this world and the next are very thin, she is there smiling and watching over you still. I am sorry for your loss.

Connie,
I know everyone has already expressed all the words of kindness and sympathy in the passing of your Mom. There probably isn't anything else that I can add other than....I truly Know what you are going through and what you are feeling. I lost not only my Mom but my very Best Friend a few years ago. She was truly my guardian angel! My heart breaks for you..for I know that terrible emptiness that you are feeling right now. My prayer for you is that Lord will hold you in his arms and you will feel His comforting peace as the days past. One day you will be able o remember her with more joy than tears. Until that time...May the love and prayers of everyone who cares about you help get you through this time of sadness and grief.
We don't chat much Connie...but I truly care.
Love and Prayers,
Carolyn
PS Her smile is precious...someone I know would have been a joy to know!

I drop in crying or just feel like I'm at the end of my rope, you hold me and say it's going to be OK honey. Then we chat and again I am smiling and heading out the door. Where are you I need that hug now. Mom you are the glue/strength of our family. I feel lost and empty all at the same time. You are my strength, my life and without you I dont know that I can be strong and go forward without you. I know you have no more pain & happy for that. BUT I need you, There is truly nothing better than a "MOTHERS HUG/LOVE" Mom I love you more than anything and I am going to be looking and waiting for you to show me the way. To the Thrasher family,
We were so shocked and saddened to her of Mrs. Thrasher's sudden passing.
She was such a wonderful person and Chastity Dr. won't be the same without her. We just saw her last week walking around the neighborhood getting exercise like the doctor had recommended that she did.
She was such a good person and we're really going to miss her. Mr and Mrs Thrasher were such a help when our mom passed away last March. We know right now the pain is so great but in time it will lessen but the empty space will remain...your Wife, Mom, Granma is an angel now with no more pain.
If there's anything we can do to help anything at all...please let us know...she will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

My dearest mom I lost you 4 days and my heart is so heavy and broken into pieces.
Mom I am so lost without you being with me but being with you the last night of your life and touching your soft skin and your rosey little cheeks is what has kept me going these past few day. God took you away for a reason unknown but I know he had a special plan for you and needed you more than us. Mom just know that daddy will be watched after and taken care till he is with you again. I feel at peace knowing you are not in pain anymore and you are back with your son that you have missed so much. Just know I love you so very much and till we see each other again you will be

Dearest Connie and Al,
May the Father of Peace send His peace to all who mourn and His comfort to all the bereaved among us. To the departed whom we now remember, may peace and bliss be granted in eternal life. May she find grace and mercy before the Lord of heaven and earth. May her soul rejoice in the ineffable good which G~D has laid up for those who fear Him and may her memory be a blessing unto those who treasure it. May our Lord comfort you and your family in your hour of need. Our Love crosses the miles to you.

~ The Longing ~

Today, you weep, it is too much,
The pain, the grief, too great to bear,
Today, you cry, the tears release,
Like skies of falling rain...

Today, you search for comfort's rest,
Search far beyond the depth of sky,
Please lift this dark confusing wrench,
Oh God, please answer, why,

Today, you can not see for sorrow
But keep on asking in the pain,
There may not be an answer
But, there will be peace again.

You will find promises from God,
Your heart He will renew
The problem may not go away
But, the agony will move.

Keep holding to the hope of love
And give your spirit time,
Time to discover shifting light-
For the light of God will come....

To bless your darkest night.

**************

Connie and Al, and your family,

My prayers are with you and I ask God to walk with each and everyone of you during this new Journey you are about to walk without your mother.

May you find peace in knowing that she is seeing the face of Jesus and being held in his open arms.

Again, I am so sorry for your loss!
