I'am so glad to have met Mr. & Mrs. Desporte at President Casino where I was working at the time He always made me and my husband smile, & laughed,, For I know he's with Mrs. Shirley always// 4-ever I will always miss you when I go up to seafood place you won't be there!!! but in memories!!

He is going to be missed. We'd eat lunch there almost every Thursday and he never missed an opportunity to give us a hug and entertain us with one of his jokes or a story or two. He was such a good-hearted person. Rest in Peace, Junior.

I WORKED ON THE PATIO AT MARINA REST THROUGH THE 80S MR.DESPORTE AND SON JUNIE AND FAMILY WOULD COME OUT ON WEEK-ENDS.MR DESPORTE AND JUNIE WERE SOOOOO MUCH FUN THEY WOULD PICK ON ALL OF US GIRLS.I REMEMBER ONE WEEK-END IT WAS REALLY COLD ONE OF THE WAITRESS GOT MR. DESPORTE A CHECKER TABLE CLOTH AN HE WRAPED UP IN IT JUNIE CAME UP ON PATIO AND SAID OMG DADDY U LOOK LIKE HUGO THE PIZZA MAN.EVERYBODY ON THE PATIO WENT CRAZY IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. HE ALWAYS REMEMBER ME WHEN I CAME IN TO BUY SEAFOOD. WE ALL LOVED U MR. DESPORT. U WILL BE MISSED.GOD BLESS ALL OF U. HAZEL ROSETTI

Iam sorry for your loss.. my prayers are with you and the family..I enjoyed talking to him every time I came in there. I remember the morning my car broke down and he let me park it in there so it would be ok...he still be greatly missed.

I remember working for Cousin Junior when I was in High School delivering seafood to Gus Stevens, the White House, and Buena Vista. He always laughed and had a story for you. That was a long time ago, 1959. Junior, we will miss you and you will be in our prayers.
